To educate people in laser technology and practice, Avante has partnered with Rocky Mountain Laser College to bring a new training facility to The Woodlands. Completion of the course will provide true certification which has been approved by the State of Colorado's Department of Higher Education/Private Occupational Division. The curriculum is taught by Lorenzo Kunze, ME, founder of the Rocky Mountain Laser College. Lorenzo has been classified as an expert in the field of laser hair removal and has spent over 35 years developing cosmetic and medical applications to enhance the hair removal profession.

Too many people today are getting laser hair removal procedures done by inexperienced practitioners. Today, hundreds of people are opening their own Laser hair removal companies without going through proper training. Improper use of lasers can cause skin discoloration and even burning. Some laser hair removal companies may tell you that a procedure should only be performed by a Registered Nurse, but this is just not true. Laser hair removal should be performed by a properly trained individual, optimally a Certified Laser Specialist. All Avante laser hair removal staff have been certified through the Rocky Mountain Laser College, which is one of the few institutions in the nation with the expertise necessary to perform laser procedures on all skin types; including Asian, Hispanic, African-American, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern.

Laser Specialist Training
Avante, a leader in the hair removal industry with over 23 years of experience, proudly offers thorough, quality, advanced laser hair removal training. Laser facilities are much more apt to hire a trained laser specialist than they are to hire someone who will require training. Upon completion of Avante Laser & MediSpa's laser hair removal training program, each student receives a certificate.

Hands-on Training
After learning about laser hair removal, students observe a professional laser specialist performing laser hair removal. Students are then carefully monitored as they perform laser hair removal.

Class Size
Avante limits the class size to no more than 8 people to ensure that each student gets adequate hands-on training with the laser.

Classes run for three full days from 8:30 - 6:00.
